Mother of Thyme

Mother of Thyme is an ideal choice for planting in a small container. Like other thymes, the leaves are highly fragrant; great to inhale as you walk through your front door. This prostrate, mat-forming perennial with slim stems is lined with tiny, oval, hairy leaves will quickly perfume an entire room. Clusters of pink-purple flowers appear on plants that reach 1/2 to 3 inches tall. Grow like other thymes, in well-drained soil in full sun. For best performance, avoid placing in very cold areas.
